CLW opened in 2008 as a new opportunity to provide adult day services, including Day Habilitation and Vocational Services, for adults with developmental disabilities. Services at each location are individually tailored to meet the needs of our participants including transportation services.

**Job Summary:**
CLW in Forest Park, OH, is seeking a compassionate CDL Driver to join our team on a part-time basis. The CDL Driver will be responsible for transporting adults with developmental disabilities from their homes to the CLW day program in the morning and back home in the afternoon. This will require a split shift. The morning and afternoon drives are expected to be approximately 2 hours each, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of individuals with disabilities.

**Qualifications:**
- Valid CDL license (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide a positive experience for our individuals

**Responsibilities:**
- Safely transport individuals with developmental disabilities from their homes to CLW's day program in the morning and back home in the afternoon
- Assist with loading and unloading individuals with care and compassion
- Ensure strict adherence to CLW's transportation policies and procedures
- Maintain flexibility with scheduling to accommodate the needs of the individuals
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety
- Document transportation logs accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to all passengers throughout the journey

**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to assist individuals with disabilities in boarding and exiting the vehicle
- Comfortable with prolonged periods of driving and sitting
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions while ensuring passenger comfort and safety
